Day
1:

Arrival
In Kathmandu
This is the first welcoming day that we meet upon
arrival at the Kathmandu International Airport and
transfer to Hotel. Short briefing will be followed
about necessary formalities and rest of the program.
Depending on your arrival time you will have choice
of visiting nearby sanctuaries or rest of the time
free for leisure. |

2: |
Sightseeing
/ Cultural Day In kathmandu
Half day sightseeing around Kathmandu, Patan city
where you will have time to fascinating Buddhist and
Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local
tradition are highlighted on my guided tour. There’s
time to explore the city’s many charms on your
own or take a rest while I finalize trekking area
permits. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali
well come dinner await for you. Q/N in Kathmandu.

3:

Kathmandu
– Trisuli Bazar- Dhunche
Drive to Dhunche via Trisuli Bazaar by bus about 8
hours. Overnight in Dhunche. |

Dhunche
– Bharku - Syabrubesi
From Dhunche there is a decent to the Trisuli River,
which is reached within half an hour. From the river
bed there is a steep climb to Dovan. Right from here
a track to Gosaikunda leaves the main trail to Rasuwa
Ghari and the Lantang valley. From Dovan there is
a gentle climb to Gharku village is reached. From
Bharku, traversing up and down after crossing a suspension
bridge over the Langtang River, the village of Syabrubesi
is reached. |

5:

Syabruvesi–
Lama Hotel
Today we will hike along the Langtang khola (river),
consisting mainly of scrub oak, bottom of the high
rocky mountains. From Bamboo lodge, where we have
lunch, the ascent continues to steel suspension bridge
at 2000m then still climbs along side a series of
waterfalls and finally to we reached to Rimche. From
here the trail descend gently to Lama Hotel, at 2380m.
Stay over night. |

6:

Lama
Hotel – Langtang Village
The trail traverses up and down through the forest
and Ghoratabela is reached within 3 hours. From there,
again a short climb for ½ hours will bring
us to a pass to the right of where the Langtang valley
begins. |

Langtang
Village – Kyangjung Gompa
From Langtang there is a gentle ascent for 4 hrs to
Kyangjing Gompa. |

Kyangjung
Gompa – Lama Hotel
After visiting Kyangjing Monastery, an excellent look-out
can be reached by climbing the slopes immediately
behind the Kyangjing Gompa. A visit to Yala Cheese
factory and a small lake beyond Yala is worthwhile.
Then back to Langtang via same rout. |

9:

Ghore
Tabala - Syabrugaun
We take the same rout until Landslide lodge then we
take upper trail to reach Syabrugaun. Lunch at Bamboo.

Syabrugaun
– Sing Gimpa
Today we climb through forests of pine and Rhododendrom.
The only sign of human habitation are the occasional
shepherd’s huts at the water points. We stay
at Sing Gompa, which is the main attraction at Chandan
Bari, which also has several lodges and a small cheese
factory. |

11:

Sing
Gompa – Gosainkunda
A steep, rugged trail but adequately compensated for
by dramatic views; to the west Himal Chuli (7893m),
Manaslu (8156m), and Ganesh Himal (7406m) and possibly
even the Annapurna range. To the north across the
valley is Langtang Lirung. We pass really nice lodges
in the high pasture of Laurebina, cross a small ridge
and have our first views of the holy lakes. There
are more then 6 lakes. According to legend. Gosaikunda,
created by Shiva when he pierced a glacier with his
trident to obtain water to quench his thirst after
having swallowed some poison. |

12:

Gosainkunda
- Ghopte
The first part of the trail climbs further through
rugged country passing three more small lakes towards
Laurebina pass (4610m). There is a good view in both
directions. After the pass, the trail descends alongside
a stream through alpine country. Lunch at Bhera Goth
from where it takes about 2.30 hours more to reach
Gopte where there are two tea shops. Stay overnight
here. |

Ghopte-
Tharepati
The trail continues up ravines and across the boulders
of old moraines below the wreckage of a plane that
crashed in 1992, then make a final ascent to Tharepati
on the ridge at 3490m from where we can see Helambu
region. We will reach around noon and rest of the
day we can just take relax. |

14:

Tharepati
– Kutumsang
Today in the morning we walk through the forest sometime
on the ridges of hills then descend to Magen Goth
where there was an Army camp before. Two lodges are
still there. The trail now is gently climbing to the
hill then decend through the rhododendron forest without
settlements but a few shepherds’ huts. The trail
still continues further down to Kutumsang where are
some nice lodges. Stay overnight at Kutumsang. |

15: |
Kutumsang
– Chisapani
From Kutumsang the trail traverses through delightful
classic hill village with a nice street, some shops
where there are good mountains views the trail drops
down to small hill ridge called Chipling (2170m) where
we stop for lunch. From Chipling the trail continues
down to Pati Bhanjyang then final ssteep climb to
Chisapani (cold water) from where we can se countless
snow peaks. . Stay overnight at Chisapani. |
Day
16:
|
Chisapani
– Kathmandu
Today is the final day of the trek. Initially we walk
on gentle climb through the forest. Passing old army
camp, the sprawling Tamang settlement at Mulkharka
then to Chisapani, which is the ending point. From
here we can frequently get vehicle to come to come
to Kathmandu. |
