Brif Info

Few mountains in the world rival the grandeur of Mt. Kailash 6714m. The famed holy peak in Western Tibet. Kailash is regarded as the center of the universe by most of Asia. It is the ultimate Tibetan journey, from the holiest Buddhist Mountain, the sculpted perfection of Kailash; through the serene beauty of the Tibetan plateau. Mt Kailash (6714m.) is the holy mountain of Tibet and is the source of the four great Himalayan Rivers.The area is not opened to independent trekkers and was opened very recently to foreign trekkers in an organized group with a special permit through Simikot (Humla) region, the highest and northern most district of Nepal. Through the main of objective of this trek is Mt. Kailash & Manasarover Lake, the journey through Humla & Tibet both culturally and scenically rewarding.

Itinerary ( Note : Itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday )

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1:	Arrive in Kathmandu This is the first welcoming day that we meet upon arrival at the Kathmandu International Airport and transfer to Hotel. Short briefing will be followed about necessary formalities and rest of the program. Depending on your arrival time you will have choice of visiting nearby sanctuaries or rest of the time free for leisure.
Day 2.	Sightseeing / Cultural day in Kathmandu Valley Half day sightseeing around Kathmandu, Patan city where you will have time to fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local tradition are highlighted on my guided tour. There’s time to explore the city’s many charms on your own or take a rest while I finalize trekking area permits. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali well come dinner await for you. Q/N in Kathmandu.
Day 3:	KATHMANDU Chinese visa arrangements.
Day 4.	NEPALGUNJ Fly to Nepalgunj. O/n at Hotel Sneha. This town is not very intresting on the west-southern border of Nepal.
Day 5:	Nepalgung – SIMIKOT Fly to Simokot in the morning. It is good to have a day acclimatization even though it is not very high place for acclimatization.
Day 6.	DHARAPORI - KERMI (2270m) A short day walk to Kermi. Get used to walk to begin with. A 300 m climb and the start getting down 2270 m a interesting Thakuri village Kermi.
Day 7.	KIRMI - YANGAR (2850m) The day is more up and down through the interesting villages and follow the river valley. The tribal villages to study will give you so much of cultural experiences.
Day 8:	YANGAR - TOREA (3380m) The day we walk through the difficult narrow trail. Cross the pass of 3500m, down to 2900m and climb to 3380 thorugh some interesting villages and some Gompas. Many suspension bridges are another interesting experiences.
Day 9:	TOREA -SIPSIP (4330m) The day we walk more like very Tibetan culture, most of the very high altitude grain. Pass through the Last Nepali check post.
Day 10:	SIPSIP - TAKLAKOT (3720m) The day we pass the highest Nepali pass (Naralanga 4580m) and down to 3860m in Sher Nepal - Tibet border. Then 1 1/2 hour drive to Taklakot (Purnag in Tibetan name) where there is first Chinese check point. Cross the border and camp.
Day 11:	TAKLAKOT - MANASAROVAR. (4500m) The day we drive to Manasarovar Lake (most holy lake in Tibet) cross some passes and have relax.
Day 12:	Day relax in Manasaorvar and a half an hour drive to Darchen (4600m)
Day 13:	Start trek around Mt. Kailash (5656m). O/N in tents.
Day 14:	Trek and cross the Dormala pass ( 5600m).O/N in tent.
Day 15:	Trek and return to Darchen. O/N in tent.
Day 16:	Return trek to Taklakot.
Day 17:	Arrive Simokot.
Day 18:	Return flight to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj.
Day 19:	Rest day in Kathmandu
Day 20:	Fly home
