Nepal visiting has become a slogan, which especially focus

Trekking safety
The Maoist leadership has regularly publicly announced that
tourists are welcome to visit Nepal. And it is fact that
not even a single foreigner / trekker is kidnapped or killed
by Maoists in Nepal.
The Everest region is considered SAFEST among all, there
are no reported presence of Maoists at all. In other areas
it is possible that Maoists will meet trekkers and ask for
a donation. Don't let the headlines put you off but please
